I think you may have a problem. The 8.25" input shaft on the Isuzu version seems to be longer than the Colorado\Canyon 7.8" version. From what I'm reading, you can't just swap in the 7.5" (7.25"?) R154 version either. It may bottom out on your crank. Go here for some info...

No need to remove the front cover, just the bellhousing. Measure from the edge of the case (where the bolts go in) to the tip of the input shaft. Greg PS. How about a Supra Turbo Diesel? Mix one 2005 Jeep Liberty 2.8L Turbo Diesel with one 3.9L Dakota V6 bellhousing and throw in an R154...

The adapter is for the GM SM420 4WD transmission to be bolted up to a W56 bell. It so happens the SM420 has the standard GM four bolt pattern, same as the T5, Muncie, Saginaw and Tremec TKO. Since it bolts to the W56, it also bolts to the W58. Get in touch with them. You can't use the...

I've posted this before. There seems to be a LOT of gents growling about losing R154's and W58's. As a possible solution, try the Tremec TKO 500 or TKO 600. This $215 adapter plate from OTT Industries can be used to bolt the GM pattern Tremec's up to a NA 7M W58 bellhousing...
