Steve that alien monster of yours looks great man, way to go !!! I'm glad you're done with the manifold, that has been very time consuming indeed. Time to move on, right?
Quick question, I have been through the whole thread in the last hour trying to find any pictures of your i/c lower...
Keith get some pictures up for us overseas guys, since it will take longer to receive and I just can't have people bragging about having received their super-duper keychain without me even knowing what the damn thing looks like...
This is exactly why I decided to tow my car to the exhaust shop. After having taken and test fitted the manifold over 50 times back & forth, having twisted, turned and re arranged the runners and flanges so many times in order to get the perfect result, my patience did finally run out.
Check this out, it's what stanzaspeed just suggested, this is exactly the same design and it's mkiii specific. Here's the link to BIC which is becauseican with the amazing 1JZ twin, http://www.bicperformance.com/products.htm .
If you're actually going single they don't come more bad ass than this little gem
which unfortunatelly is a mkii specific downpipe from raptor racing. Considering the many similarities of the two engine bays I wouldn't be surprised if that would still fit a mkiii. This is one of the best...
Man you got some long runners there, I see quite a fat torque band in your future :evil2: . Mine are about 16" with 1/2" to 3/4" length difference among them. I have managed to have the bigger difference in the same one of three runners of each turbo.
:biglaugh: LMAO :biglaugh:
Damn, now that's what I'm talking about. Man those numbers you're describing are just killing me. This is exactly what I want to get from my setup. And I did think that the GT28Rs would be two big and laggy for the 7mgte 3.0 lt displacement and you get that kind of delivery on a 1JZ 2.5...
Yea, I thought you got that wrong, but actually Turbo06 didn't. He was reffering to my car which is a MkII and that photo I posted is of a jdm rhd as I underlined on that same post.:naughty:
It really depends on what you're after. Proving the benefits of a twin setup compared to a single and vice versa is a long debate and I'm already tired of it. It all has to do with what kind of powerband you desire to get of your motor and how you want that power to be delivered.
If you want...
