slow66: i had to take the cam off just to get the stud to seet in the head. it was on the intake side, second bolt. this is odd because the other side didn't give me any hastle.
i was installing my head today and i can't get the socket to fit.
first: i couldn't fit one of the studs in with the cam on, so i took it off.
now: i cant get a socket to fit between the stud bolt and the head.
has anyone else had this problem? any sugestions? :1zhelp:
there's some guy in boise that has an elise with a motor swap. i think he put a b18 honda motor in it. i'd rather see a 3sgte swap but thats my $.02.

got the studs in last night. i'll be torquing the head down this afternoon. hope to be compleated by next weekend (stupid job and taking up my day) *grumbles*
i may be retarded but i can't seem to find any information on how to actually instal the studs. is there a special tool? do you put the studs into the block first or do you instal them like bolts (after the head is on the block)?
and on another note; is there a seelant that needs to be...
