    slow66: i had to take the cam off just to get the stud to seet in the head. it was on the intake side, second bolt. this is odd because the other side didn't give me any hastle.

    i was installing my head today and i can't get the socket to fit. first: i couldn't fit one of the studs in with the cam on, so i took it off. now: i cant get a socket to fit between the stud bolt and the head. has anyone else had this problem? any sugestions? :1zhelp:

    fel-pro gasket. decided not to go metal because i couldn't machine the block. i now see that the studs must be in before the head can go on.

    i may be retarded but i can't seem to find any information on how to actually instal the studs. is there a special tool? do you put the studs into the block first or do you instal them like bolts (after the head is on the block)? and on another note; is there a seelant that needs to be...
