i think it's trying to put the head on with the studs. the cylinder head goes under that piece of metal on the firewall and with studs it has to go straight down right over the studs and that's pretty impossible with that long metal thing unless you loosen the tranny mount and lift it up...

my car is running rough and i think it is my afm. there's no code even though it stalls on it's own. just need to swap afm's for like 2 minutes and see if it runs better please. thank you.
i just wanted to borrow an afm bcuz i think there is something wrong with mine. i don't hear a vacuum leak but the combustion is incomplete i think. i think it's lean bcuz my afm is not picking up all of the air. i have an 89 turbo. so any 89+ turbo will do please.
well.....afm seems to be working. i was working on it after that incident then forgot to hook up afm and rpm was "searching"(going up and down) and i just remembered that that's what happens when afm is not plugged in. so then i plugged it in and now it's ok. for some odd reason i didn't do...
maf was from junkyard. it's also been a year since my car has ran and haven't checked timing yet. i'll look into those. anybody else have any other suggestions?
