This is the third Supra I have seen reported stolen with either no pics or pics of what it used to look like before the Mods.
Post up some pics I have a keen eye and will keep an eye out down this way.
We own a 94 dodge all window van with a 318 FI V8, we use it to haul our 18 foot travel trailer loaded with two dirt bikes to the desert up the steepest hill we encounter, the cajon pass we be passing almost everything right at 55mpg with 15mpg to boot. So basically most any small V8 is good.
I would say ANY late model pickup or suv with a small V-8 would do a great job. I would also look into having it shipped there, it might be cheaper in the long run to have a reputable car carrier take it there for you, that way you can drive at higher speeds, and get FAR better mpg.
I always grab Turtle hand wax myself due to my experience with the other NEW invented waxes that don't even last a month. Carnube wax has been around far too long to be thought of as just another wax. Google Carnuba sometime and read up on it's history. But then again it's a preference thing.
One of the Oil Wizards here mentioned recently that Ford filters fit Toyotas, next time I go for my Wix and Napa Im going to check that out and get the much larger Ford version. Would like to hear if anyones done that yet?
Just paid 3.42 here in carlsbad, ca I was low and didnt get my usual Chevron thats sucks, Its around 3.60 I believe for low grade, luckily my drive is 5 miles up and down PCH. I's almost pay to work here just for the drive everyday:)
I just have this to say, be careful who you give address's to, this story sounded weird as soon as it was mentioned the cops wouldn't do anything cause they didnt have an address, folks go after hit and runs, this whole addy thing kinda scares me, what if someone came on here caliming your car...
Ya gotta have dreams otherwise theres no reason to live, I want a 98TT and someday I'll have it, I have no doubt if you truly want that Skyline someday your gonna make it happen.
Drum Awesome write up, your're the first person Ive ever seen that put allot of spotlight onto the Vacuum FIRST before the Re-charge, Thanks for the Writeup. I at one time was in Aircraft Refridgeration.
holy hell, sounds like over kill but I guess if you want something bad enough.
Amen to that, it does go to show the power of when you want something bad enough your gonna get it.
Here's where ya go to see what any car is worth, cause they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, but at least you can get a general idea as to what it might sell for. I sold my last car to two Belgium teenagers who felt it was worth a flight to LAX ,the drive south to my...
I get mine done at the toyota dealer, Im on the second set of tires and have never had to rotate them, these supras have awesome suspensions once set right.
I also argued the thick oil view since its all I've used in every vehicle I've owned in the last 35 years. After reading Jdubs suggested site listed below I have a better and more informed view on oil Viscosity. Dr. Hass explained it better then I had ever read. Not sure if you read his Posts so...
Like Poodles said our cars came from a different time, they came from the Ground Effects era that was later abandoned due to what happens when a car using ground effects gets sideways. Way back during that era if you were into racing you would have seen that, once they realized the cost of...
I wonder if local libraries have all those mags, someone could go down since we now know the names and dates, they could get them all, scan them, and post them right here on Supramania, now that would be cool. I finally have an article on an 89, which is what I have. I think I'll have the Mrs...
