    TSRM Manual

By the time you get the ink, paper, notebooks, or buy the manual from the dealer you may as well just buy a cheapy used laptop and have it right there where you use it in the garage. I did print it out, my cheapy printer doesn't do double sided pages so the stack of printouts alone was 6" high. LOL

    need new endlinks

Make your own out of heim joints and threaded rod or long grade 8 bolts and spacers. Before you do from what I have been told you'll need to reinforce the brackets on the frame though, evidently thats the weak link. You can get everything you need to make your own at the site below...

    hp rated Oil Cooler

HP rated, that sounds funny, you not only need size, and there is something more important. A constant oil temp of around 212F, you what ever size you think you need you will still need a thermostat to maintain that desired oil temp. So before you buy anything Read some great info on oil. Then...

    Resonator

Nothing special just some stock off the shelf Muffler that pretty much matched the original one with two tube outlets. My car is bone stock engine wise and I prefer quite even when I have HP. Noise just attratas unwanted attention, and the Big aftermarket ones do the same down here where I am...

    Resonator

I recently learned from my Muffler guy who Ive been going to for over 35 years that Resonaters were used on mostly high end cars to keep the moisture from dripping on garage floors and suggested I use only muffler. So he installed a stock type muffler and sure enough it was as quite as it was...

    Legality of modifications

Yes they are crushing cars in Socal. The reason they do this is mindless; it reminds of when the border checkpoints used to confiscate drug runner’s cars back during the Clinton admin. Years later every person that sued the Gov for unreasonable search and seizures won their cases, all the cars...

Interest in having TEMS shocks Rebuilt?

The way I see it is if someone can make a 75 year old dilapidated car look new I'm thinking some shock wizard will take on the challenge to figure it out.

Interest in having TEMS shocks Rebuilt?

I have contacted some shock rebuilders and three of them are interested in seeing if they can rebuild them for the Supra Community. All three are asking for a blown shock to see what it would take to rebuild them. I wrote them back and told them I would try and find someone close to them to send...

Why can't TEMS shocks be rebuilt?

I am getting some positive responses from Shock Rebuilders to take a shot at rebuilding our TEMS Shocks, what three of them are asking for is a blown shock so they can take a look at it and see if it can be done. One mentioned he would even add a schrader valve for the gas charge. My Question to...

Why can't TEMS shocks be rebuilt?

Were the Original Stock Toyota TEMS shocks made by Tokico? If not anyone know who did manufacture them? I know KYB made many Stock shocks for both cars and motorcycles coming from Japan.

Why can't TEMS shocks be rebuilt?

If you do some Shock Rebuilding search’s on Goggle you'll find many shocks are rebuilt. Gas no problem, there are many Bilstien and Koni Gas shock rebuilders. Then there are the companies that rebuild shocks for just about every classic car foreign and domestic. I for one would rather have...

Why can't TEMS shocks be rebuilt?

I read this post and the original question was never answered. I as well as many in the past wondered this also and would love to see some input by the longtime Supra Gurus. I would like to know if anyone has ever tried or asked a shock rebuilder for a quote. I just goggled Shock Rebuilding and...
