no pictures from me, but you take off your stock bypass valve, cap off the port on your accordian hose and the one on your 3000 pipe, and you're set.
edit: missed the "replacing 3000 pipe" part. just cap off the port on your accordian hose after removing the bypass valve.

the reason it sounds plain is because you took out the insert. it now IS just a rush of air, you're right. the only reason the ssqv sounds way different than "run of the mill" blow off valves is because of those fins. if you didn't want a high pitched "lip whistle" sound, you shouldn't have...

around here in WA, you can be a lube tech at a dealer at 18 years old and make 9-12 bucks an hour. that's just for doin oil changes pretty much. no idea what you'd make if you worked in an import shop or somethin along those lines.
i'm with s90t there. i've played the guitar for 4 years and it's just a boring game. my real guitar's frets aren't colored green, blue, red, etc. and my real guitar has more than 5 of em.

yeah, and he's usually never a dick about anything. when i was brand new to the site and to Supras, he helped me out with everything i asked about with no problems. i say we make a thread to give thanks to the man and the legend. :biglaugh:
lol i guess it is. i didn't want any trouble man, it's just not my style. i like full interior cars over gutted cars, but not when the full interior is fuzzy. that'd be a sick car to have for my school's half times at our football games though, seeing as how our colors are purple and gold haha.
