If you don't have a problem with your Supra staying NA and having a turbo DD, I'd say the WRX is for you. Not an STi, just a WRX. You can do a couple mods to liven them up without having to stress the car too much. It's a lot nicer than the SRT for sure. Nothing against the SRT as it does...
Your car had a stock catback on it. Of course the open DP made huge difference. The stock catback is like breathing through a vein.
Before you say "screw you" to those who don't appreciate the obnoxiously loud annoyingness of an open downpipe, put a proper 3in catback on your car and see...
Be realistic.
A car made in '05 is a much more logical choice for a daily driven vehicle than one from '86. I don't know why you feel the need to dispute that.
Nothing is guaranteed with a vehicle. A 20 year old car is much more prone to failure than one that is 2-3 years old. And when...
Chris, I don't think I ever realized your engine bay was still red but it's really not that bad looking. It looks like there was effort into making it look ok as opposed to typical engine-in-the-car color changes with overspray and dulled/bad paint from the previous color.
I like my Defi stuff too and was skeptical about prosport in the beginning for a few reasons(I posted in the early pages of this thread). I had never heard of them or anyone using them before and the website was less than nice and that sent a message to me that if the website isn't even up to...
What year is this car again? An 89 or 90?
As you know, I changed entire cars but if my old Supra was a 91-92, I would have just eventually painted it instead. But moving up to the last production and rarest year and in black were the 3 biggest positives for me. That wasn't my plan going...
The 7M-GTE only makes 10hp more than the 2JZ-GE. But stock doesn't matter. Uncork both motors with 1k in mods and you know what happens then.
SRTs will respond really well to the same basic mods any other turbo car uses. I'm still not very fond of them.
I'd rather buy a WRX like Ric...
Oh, I've got another one.
Dyslexic people who don't take the time to at least run their posts through a spell checker before posting.
Being dyslexic isn't an excuse to post like a 5 year old. I know a couple people who are dyslexic and run their posts through a spell check all the time. At...
