EGR and emissions etc are hooked up, I just noticed that when the FPR vacuum hose is off the car idles a lot smoother, yes vacuum hose is plugged off. i am running a stock airbox, i was using a dry flow filter but the differences arent much (only noise differs). Everything is hooked up, no...
Thanks for the point outs guys. But I have seem to focus on something right now. I want to know because the fuel pressure-up has a VSV that controls when the fuel pressure regulator should be activated or not right? What part in the electrical system gives signal or voltage to the fuel pressure...
CPS is sending a cosntant signal via oscilloscope, checked out the input coming to the coils the pulse on each igniter does not seem to be evenly distributed, What I think it is now is the igniter is not giving a strong constant pulse maybe that could be it?
Most likely its the spring thats weak, broken or missing, its wedged right in between the door and the door hinge itself, black little spring that pops it open when the gas release lever is pulled up, see if you have that black plastic/metal piece..
timing marks are fine when pulley is at 0* TDC, they align with the top marks on the rear timing cover, as well as when the car is running and the jumper connectors are jumped the ignition timing is at 10* BTDC
Bump, the stabilizer bar on the driver side has been replaced, car still has a slight sway to the right over bumps but not as serious as before, what else should i check for before getting an alignment on all four wheels?
Yeah that is a VSV, check under your intake manifold there should be two dark red connectors going to two VSV's. For a 7MGTE there is one for the fuel pressure up and for the EGR. you should be able to locate them, that maybe is just an extra one bolted on there, thats not a usual location for...
BTW if anyone hasnt figured it out yet, it connects to the WASHER CONTROL module for Supra's that have the headlight squirters on em. Looked at a junkyard Supra had that same plug that was plugged into a black box that said that. Sure enough it did have headlight washers on em :)
Now I'm no expert at electronics or anything related to any complex related stuff, but my dad and I used some TSRM wiring diagrams and connected the CPS to an oscilloscope there were two identical sine wave signals and one multiple frequency signal which I am going to assume is the output of the...
Most likely your TPS is out. Does your A/C work? I believe it shares the same signal with the TPS, I don't exactly know how the two systems work together but keep the A/C button off and if the code still there Im going to assume most likely it needs adjustment or replacement. Here check this...
That looks like a good setup, I just love to keep my spare tire in case anything happens I mean any sub setup would work but being able to keep the targa storage in the back would require some custom box or shallow mount which i could barely find at any store, though i should look into these...
