it all does look good....except those headlights. they look like some autozone "fog lights" stuck in some kind of cheap housing but you do have to give it to him for originality
I am taking off the Fan Clutch, but when I try to loosen the bolt it keeps spinning. I'm using a Haynes Manuel and doing all the steps, but it seems to not be helping. Do any of you have any tricks or tips that I can use?

the body is very good and the engine was rebuilt about 20k miles ago. i will try to get pics up when i get home from work.

I've got an '88 Targa and I am wanting to go turbo but I am having a hard time deciding what to do? This is my DD so what ever I end up doing, it needs to be off the road as little as possible. These are the 3 options I would like all of your opinions on.

will do, the fan is loud and then quiets down and the shroud is all there. so i will check for the clogs and have it pressure tested. thanks for the help
-It will sometimes purge from the overflow tank after i have been driving for awhile usually stop and go but it does sometimes overheat on the highway.
-No white smoke.
-The temp guage rises slow sometimes and fast sometimes but never immediate.
-No other leaks

well i got it checked out at the local "tuner" shop and he checked everything out for me. he said it wasnt a BHG. he said it was either the thermostat or it could be the fan. the fan could have an intermittent "glitch" where it wont work but he said it did not do it for him when he had it. it is...
ok, so i read through this thread and changed my thermostat today but i noticed that i had put on one that was good for 180F instead of the recommended 190F. will this cause any serious problems? i am still overheating BTW.
