I've had the same Craftsman impact since I started working on cars... 8-10 years. The only problem w/ it is that the little retainer clip came off the end so sockets dont want to stay on by themselves. I know I could fix it for $2 and about a min, but I'm lazy and never remember to get the...

Or, just pull out some of the plugs inside it, unhook the monitor, unhook the power button.... but w/e. Not like emachines are exspensive.

That sucks man. When I read the first post that was what came to mind. If they scope it, don't keep it in that sling for the 6 months or whatever they tell you. Keep it limber and you wont have as many range of motion issues down the road.
