oh, well yes, that would case this to happen. mixing metals doesn't work, as proven time and time again by most motors with an iron block and aluminum head combo.

this is why i hate mig welding. the welds don't look very good, not as strong as other methods, and it's problematic. go tig and you'll never go back. (unless you have to. :cry: )
