no i have no problems under throttle with it either plugged in or not. It runs great all the time excpept for idling... and i dont have the surging from 1200-1600, only 450-550. The surging from 1200 to 1600 does sound like how it was when my isc was unplugged.
After trying many different things such as checking vac lines, isc, etc. to see if any would affect my rough idle problems, i tried unplugging the tps because i hear that it can sometimes cause rough idle. My observations prior to unplugging to tps were: vac at 16-17, fairly smooth idle at...
My 88 supra turbo sounds like its dieing. Just recently it has started acting up and it has gotten progressively worse. When first started cold its good, but once starting to warm up and the rpms begin to drop the idle gets extremly rough and fluctuates between 450-550 rpms constantly (sounds...
ok does this guy actually know what hes talking about? Should i really throw out all information that has been forced into my head about "dont run 10w-30, its way too thin for our engines". He's definatly selling it to me so maybe i should start running a 0w oil... i donno though. One thing that...
what kind of wideband setup do i need to work with the maft pro? What all components of the wideband do i need? Can i just purchase a bosch sensor for 70$ or do i need to get a full kit. I was originally looking at the innovative lm-1 but would there be any benefits of that over somthing more...
Is it better to run the hks ssqv with or without the stock bov? i will not be recirculating the ssqv. I have read about both set-ups so im now wondering.
i am looking at getting a maft pro after reading that it could be a much better alternative to the lex afm and 550 upgrade for relatively the same price. are there any downside to the maft pro? I would need a wideband setup to run the maft pro too... what would be a good wideband setup that is...
are there any kits out there or wideband sensors that directly fit into the bung of the stock 02 sensor? i got my ddp from BIC and never got him to weld in the second bung... damn. Does this mean i have to weld one in myself or is there an alternative?
so as long as im staying under 400hp it is alot cheaper to just put the money that i would spend on injectors to buy the gm maf and maft? what other things can i do with the maft? is it worth it to step up to the maft pro? what can it do?
i have been reading and have read that instead of using the tried and true method of using lexus afm and 550's and a walbro pump(is it really needed?) to safely saise fuel cut, you can just install a MAFT or MAFT pro instead. Which is better MAFT or MAFT pro and for what application? Are there...
