Upgraded front brakes 300 zx calipers.

Agreed, If you could do this swap easy and it were like a couple hundred, then it might be worth it. But $220 + shipping + junkyard calipers + caliper rebuild + pads + misc.... It's a loser!:3d_frown:

    LSD AND NON LSD QUESTION!

With the wheels up in the air when I spin one of the wheels as if the car were moving forward (on my 4.30 LSD) the other one also spins as if the car were moving forward. I just had it apart and I know it's working right. But, it seems to me I've seen some posi rear-ends (not toyota) that did...

My Lexus got hit today...Yes, the IS300

Pearl paint is hard to match (near impossible), and you want all the panels to match. I would work that angle and insist on a complete paint job, or the cash equivilent (big $$$'s... if you know what I mean). This way you definitely come out a winner, and it's totally legit.

Removing the rear axle from hub?

AGREED!!! What's in that stuff? I've done some resto's on old american cars from the 50's and PB Blaster has loosened stuff that 50+ years of corrosion had "welded" together. Let frozen parts soak in it for a day or so, and it works miracles. I've actually punctured cans of it with a...

    Supra or house.......:(

Don't buy a house now. The realestate market is nowhere near the bottom it's going to hit, so I would seriously not buy shit unless you want to be upside down in a mortgage for the next 30 years or go BK in an effort to get out of it. Neither of which is a good option. Wait till it...

    275's all around!

Can you be more specific? I ran much wider tires on the back for a while and noticed that it gave the car an "understeer" feel that wasn't present when I had same size on all 4 corners (245's). So I went back to 245's, except at the strip where I run 15" rims out back with much wider drag...

    275's all around!

I agree with you. (I have 245's up front) The only reason I mentioned it is in case money, or ability to do the necessary repairs (like the ones that you mentioned) is going to be a problem. I am doing my bushings right now, and as I'm sure you know...it isn't real cheap, and they're not...

    275's all around!

Running bigger tires up front has a tendency to make a well worn front end die a quick death. Wear on things like bushings (especially upper and lower control arms), and steering racks etc. will be accelerated by bigger wider tires in the front.

Do you want Energy Suspension Poly Bushings? READ HERE.

Suprageezer, what were the symptoms of your (I assume) worn upper and lower control arm bushings? Were they creaky on bumps or braking? I dont seem to have alot of slop (aligns good and no obvious play when I jack up the wheel and muscle it around) but it just started creaking like an MF...

Not 1 but *2* CFX 2" cowl Carbon Fiber hoods!

Just make sure you center the pins on this one! I just would hate to see that hood get the same off-center pin location as the other one. (meant in the best way possible:icon_bigg) sidenote: let me know when bidding begins:icon_wink

    mystery plugzzz

Dude soldering is easy, go to pepboys or autozone or wherever and get a cheapo soldering iron and your on your merry way. A little practice and you'll be golden. Plus you need to be able to solder (for God sakes). Seriously, butt connectors suck. Vibration or a slight tug or both will always...

UHH MKIII or a car friek gone wrong? *PICS*

I have seen some Supra's that I wasn't in love with, and some I downright hated, but this is the ugliest one I've ever seen. I wasn't even sure it was a Supra at first, sadly I concede that it is. (Low Budget) Austin Powers... Be on the lookout for Fembots! Yeah Baby...Yeah...

    Leather Recaro's, good idea?

Not to hijack the thread... but is the Turbo-R the only model that came with Recaro option? If so, I'm assuming that Recaro's on USDM cars were all imported as JDM items...? Don't see too many around.

    Good buy?

The cars value (nor are other special interest cars) accurately reflected in Kelly Blue Book. If your interested in some sort of documentation of the cars value, get ahold of a CPI (Cars of Particular Interest) guide. Candidly, you should scoop that car up, it's a deal! Some of the...
