haha! dangit! all my threads end up getting something like this! lol man i always feel like an idiot after posting oh here, but at least i get my answers.
so now i have to figure out where this fuse is located:3d_frown:
also from the diagram, i dont see anything about a water temp sensor...
well from thread searches i found quite a few threads with "my tach/speedo/dashboard doesnt work" stuff. and my car had the dash replaced a few years ago, and i was guessing that was the reason... maybe not though.
anyhow, lol, im going to college right now for mechanical...
alright thanks guys i will check this out then get back to you.
oh yeah, when i pull the connector off the sensor to check if it is bad or not, should the ignition be on or does it not matter? sorry for the noob questions.
Yeah so i have to fix it... and im wondering if this is a common problem on supra's? cause i know a lot of them have dashboard problems (mine especially).
my water temp sensor, tach, and oil pressure dont work. i need to get my temp sensor working so i have a few questions.
is there a common...
yup its my DD. and that gauge is def gettign fixed lol. i just had the HG replaced so hopefully that isnt going to be a problem. i will be careful though. i have a mechanic that specializes in supras that will be installing arp headstuds in a few weeks. he is swamped right now but i will have...
ok just drove it home from my friends house. it had me very worried. for the first 3 minutes it was idling very low, and it was stuttering and stuff when i would try to accelerate. btu after 3 minutes, it ran perfect! hopefully no more problems.
thanks guys!
ok system is burped. thanks
when it was sitting there idling, and i hit the gas, it would stutter first and before it would rev. could this be a result of some sort of heat damage?
by filling the radiator will that "burp" the system or is their other steps i have to do.
just being careful because i dont want to have to do this again.
man motorcycles are so much simpler.:icon_bigg
well i guess if we all knew as much as you jetjock, then there would be no need for this forum.
anyhow, i tried the "bypass" idea with terrible results. i have pics for you to check to make sure that i did it correctly.
heres what i think i did wrong.
the fluid resevoir was almost...
yeah that is probably what i will do. but until then i need to bypass this system somehow.
someone point me in the right direction of how to shut off my heater system so that i wont need that hose temporarily. thanks!
yeah i was thinking what a pain in the butt i have to buy that entire peice when all i need is that plastic box.
i really dont want to spend 230 bucks. what other cars would have this and how would i identify it when i order it?
this thing looks similar but i have no idea if it is...
yup it fixed it. and the fluid level is staying consistantly full so i dont think i have any leaks. i have other issues to deal with now lol. check my other thread lol. thanks!
My radiator hose blew off while driving and it wasnt a faulty hose. it was the nipple part that the hose slides onto had broken off so there wasnt enough to clamp the hose onto. try as i might, i could not get the hose to stay on for more than a few miles. the car sits right now getting snowed...
i know it is on the slave cylinder but i dont know where the slave cylinder is. do i have to get under the car? i know where the master cylinder is, is it near that?
the directions to bleed it in my manual said i have to cover the bleeder with my finger while i pump the clutch. im guessing...
so i went to bleed it this morning and i cant locate the bleeder bolt or whatever you call it. i have a manual for the car that explains everything in detal and gives pictures of the parts but it doesnt say where the part is located haha. where is this bleeder?
