I think that with the Upgraded CT26 60-1 with the 550's you'll be perfectly fine running 22 psi with the 550's, you should with 22psi and a good dyno tune you should be in the 425rwhp range with 16 the turbo is just waking up. I've seen people in the high 400's with 550's. on pump gas. Becuase...
Hey guys,
I just wanted to know what things that I can get rid of in my engine bay that I don't need. I have already gotten rid of the Catch can, EGR, fuel pulsation dampner, I wanted to get rid of the Cruise, but don't know what else that I need to take off with it. Anything that I can...
The only other thing that I could've touched is the alarm system on the car, and hitting the starter kill switch on my alarm. I think it has to be something simple. I've checked all my wires and fuses and all seems ok. I'm going to get a volt meter and check around for things not working.
I checked the efi fuse and it looks good and I even swapped it out just incase something was wrong with it. I really think that it is power somewhere either a ground or the power connection on the alt doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking. I took my glove box out...
Well I did that last night and It was not telling me any codes because the ECU wasn't getting any power to tell me the codes. I'm thinking that it has to be a ground or power wire or something. i just need to figure out where the ecu gets the power and where the ground is for it.
Hey guys, I installed a new boost guage and took the car out for a spin and it was fine, came home let the car idle and cool down for a bit and shut it off. I tried to drive it the other day and I have no power to the ECU I believe. My SAFR that is wired in to my ECU won't power on, I turn the...
That's fine and all but I'd figure that it would be fun to bracket race with some nicer domestic cars as long as you don't bust out. I think the 12.5 class would be fun. And the last time I went there were a lot of nice people and cars out there with a lot of power and had a great time.
I just wanted to see if any of you guys were going to go to this event? It looks pretty fun with the Brakets and not costing an arm and a leg to get in and race!

I never said anything about the looks of the BOV at all. I actually like the HKS Racing looks better than the SSQV. I just didn't want to spend that much on a BOV. I could care less about the looks, shoot if the ugly ass bosch one worked the best I would use that one.
The lady at HKS...
Ok just got off the phone with HKS and they said the SSQV won't hold 500rwhp, I was like WTF I know people have done this with the MK3 and MK4.
I just don't want that ugly ass Tial.
I'll only be pushing the car to 500rwhp when I go to the track and get some race gas! Other than that I...
I think I'm leaning towards the HKS, they came out with a new design to hold more power and I can recirculate it if I want to.
Does the AEM allow you to hook up to your laptop while still being turned on in the car and functional?
Hey guys I need a new BOV that will hold 500rwhp or about 25psi max. I've been looking at the Blitz DD because it's not to loud and the HKS SS BOV. What do you guys suggest?
Is it a big deal to have the BOV recirculated? I am on the LEX AFM, and if it helps to have it and it makes it quiet...
15" Wheel won't rub on the MK3 unless you have big upgraded brakes. You can run 15's all around. M&H told me that if you run a 275/50/15 you should put them on a 8" rim vs a 10" because they will have more contact patch, with the 10" the tire will sink in, in the middle and you don't get a...
I have been told to not put a 26/10.5/15 tire on a 15x10 rim, they need to be on a 15x8 by MT and M&H. The 295/60/15 are alot wider than the 26/10/15 tire. I'm going to just get the 275/50/15 on some 15x8 prostars I think. I'd love to have a wider tire but I don't think that at my power level...
