Not to sure how you think a Prelude exhaust would even remotely fit, they are two entirely different cars. Prelude 4 cylinder, Supra six banger, worlds apart. But, I guess any thing can be done witha lot of money. (and no,I'm not giving you a hard time):biglaugh::biglaugh:
Now that we know which way your going, now we can help you better. Sounds like you have a tough decision. The 87, doesn't start, no power, sounds like a minor problem. What if it's something dumb like a fuse? B.HG. minor. Sounds like you like the newer trim, the tail lights, climate control...
I agree with both the above. Supra guy hit on the money I think. What are your goals? Do you like the hard top? do you want to go turbo? Most Supra owners up grade to the newer trim. It's almost kinda a good idea to get both them (depending what your goals are, turbo or n/a) and make one good...
Koenigturbo: Yes, the cover is separate from the block/head (haha blockhead). The BIG problem here is that the head also sits on it. If it's not level enough, you will eventually get another BHG. That's why machine shops that think they can "just" rebuild a 7M can really screw somebody up...
Just a guess: I think the reason you can't find what your comfortable position is becuase the car was designed by a japanese guy that is short in stature. The average guy in Japan is probaly around 5'8 or 9" that was optimun for them. Just a guess.
If your lookng for a set of KYB's take a look. Just so, all you know, I have nothing to do with this, I'd tought I'd share this.
