I had it working fine on my 1jz. and it will be on my JDM 2jz for a bit till i swithc to my aem. I have experiance with emanage on many 7m cars, it's worked like a charm. MAFT t is a better option if you can ditch the AFM but emanage is very easy to learn and configure.

some things that also help is what the Volvo guys call stage 0 which is a whole tune up... New spark plugs, wires, checking/pressure testing intercooler pipes. lubing bearings, making sure breaks arn't sticking ect..
