I'd vote for a small whale tail. A pre 89 will just look weird, and as you've got a hatch spoiler and those kinda wheel and exhaust, a whale tail will look best on that car IMO.
You don't have to of course, but the sound, looks and performance on the originale exhaust is not very good.
Best exhaust setup for a 7M-GE:
2.5" cat-back
OBX or Pacesetter header
Test-pipe
At least 3" on a N/A? That's just silly.
Go preferably for a 2.5", you can go for a 3" too, but then you need a big silencer. Go with OBX header and a test pipe too.
Do you have any more pics of the ADR rims? Maybe some pics with the whole car? To get some perspektive. I'm gonna buy the exact same ones, only 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Have been looking around for a while, and finally there are someone with the same ones. :)
Hi,
Is there any pictures of a (preferably) red MK3 with some rims that look like this? As I'm thinking of buying them, but would like to see kinda how it will look.
They're ADR rims.

Some people say that OBX header is crappy, others say the pacesetter is not so good either. But there are also a lot of happy owners on both sides. I bought a OBX through eBay yesterday anyway. Stainless steel, and good welds(at least on pics), so recon I'll be happy with it.
Look at the 2nd. post from top in this link -> http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=108608&page=2
As you can see, they are from an Opel Calibra. Got them from a local dealer.
Another update. Tok of the timing gear cover and painted it black with white stripes, also took of the caliper(front right) for overhauling and found at the same time that I've got KONI suspension. Other then that the rear end is mounted and all finished.

Was thinking of the outlet of the pacesetter header. I don't have a cat on my car though, it's only this "muffler" kinda box insted.
Hm, got any info on the OBX headers? Price? Link to who sells it?

Hey.
I'm getting a 2.5" cat-back. And maybe aftermarket pacesetter headers, although I've heard a lot of various experiences. Anyway, my question is what to do with the exhaust between the headers and the cat-back, or downpipe as you call it. Is there any aftermarket 2.5" pipe?

Received a package today with a K&N filter, inletpipe and a vacuumhose-kit(got that for free).
Pretty happy :) Other then that, the numberplate-holder is painted, aswell as the metal "bumper" that goes underneath the rear bumper has been sandblasted and powder coated. In the sparewheel-well...
That's one amazing Supra you've got! Rims, moldings, color, black leather interior aswell as basically everything is perfect. Wish to one day be able to get my Supra as clean and beautiful as yours!
