Why what? You're telling me you're going thru all the effort to install cams for higher RPM on a japanese junkyard motor that's been sitting for 10 years in a field, and not installing new valve stem seals, not properly shimming the cam to the cam specs, and not putting in aftermarket valve...

With all the effort needed in the purchase of new shims, retainers, springs, stem seals... shit man, you might as well spend the extra $200 and get good cams from Jun or HKS.
