yea not the easiest task, but if u must give it a shot, carefully wet sand it with say 400-600 grit and as long as u dont sand through the factory basecoat u can get it recleared and itll look good as new
chances are tho ull probly burn through but give it a shot and worst case scenario u...
my friend got lambo doors on his c6 corvette, and he is still iffy about it.
the doors on that are heavy even with acuators, and those doors are carbon fiber! i cant imagine on a supra, maybe if really strong actuators are used.
and as far as doing urself... id say get a shop to do it and...
just buy an insanely clean supra for 10k? clean the parts u have so they look new and just buy a few that need replacing, its not that hard. look the same as new, feel the same as new... cause theyre the exact same parts
why would u buy a new cheap car, cheap = gay car (suzuki,geo,deawoo) if 20k is too expensive. no car will be an easier swap than a supra. and why do u need to do all this restoration? buy a clean mk3?
