I'm on a really low budget and would love to have some nice big chrome rims that would really bring out the luster of my new paint. But... again... no money. So I've seen that some people paint them... which is what I was going to do at first, but now I see that some people strip the paint off...
I'm going to get a A-Pillar Pod from Roy, and was wondering what gauges I should buy. I'm on quite a budget... so I would like to buy some fairly inexpensive gauges that are the best for the money. I'm also changing out my gauge cluster and putting in an 89+ cluster with white face gauges, so...
Damn good thing you mentioned that, i didn't even think about that. I was thinking of flattening out the bottom part of the well and making an amp rack there or something. Speaker enclosure is possible but I feel that it would probably rattle like crazy.
yea I saw that x-brace group buy that was a while back... i missed it. but i definitely want one just like that and the price seems really reasonable too.
I remember about a year ago i was that guy  I used to get my tank down to a gallon or two and pop in a bout 5 of those STP octane boosters and go down to the track... it helped it a little bit... but i think it was much more of a placebo effect than anything else.
so supra forums is irritating me with their no "free" email crap. i would definitely pay for g-mail if they made me. oh well. after reading that entire thread, i'm actually a little pissed off... even though i don't really have anything to do with it. i'm definitely never doin business with...
Prepping is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of the paint process. It determines whether your paint is going to last 2 weeks or 10 years. if you hit it with the da (only if you need to) then be very careful not to apply considerable pressure to any one side of the DA while sanding. I did it, and now...
nice thread... not sure why i didn't think of blacking out the supra lights... i just got through tinting the turn signals on my daily driver Focus ZX5 with some very good VHT NiteShade tint paint.
This is probably the most common rust spot for the supra... I think that if you were to have that done I would DEFINITELY like to see a pic of it. I just left it after using an entire can of some cheap rust dissolver and put some FatMat over it as well as around the entire hatch. Sounds like...
Flat black wouldn't show up minor imperfections, but it doesn't look like that's going to be a problem. You're car in the pic is pretty damn stunning man. I would either keep it like it is... or spray a little blue pearl if the body and panels are real clean. just my two cents
OMG!!!:aigo: Sorry I'm not going to be any help, but this same thing happened to me... plus I have reason to believe that it was draining my battery :icon_conf. I eventually unhooked it and haven't wanted to mess with it anymore.:3d_frown: My car hates me... but I'll always love her!:icon_razz
Definitely go for the mandrel bent if you can afford it... I got the crush bent and it's great... but the mandrel bent does make a noticeable difference in sound and a bit of performance... much smoother air flow. :icon_bigg
