Hey!
Doing my GE GTE swap.. and I've now got HAC sensor and A/C temp switches connections on the harness. But as far as I know I don't have the HAC sensor unit, and got no where to connect the A/C temp switches.
Do these two have to be connected in? Would I have to buy a HAC sensor unit...
Hm.. seems like N/A doesn't have HAC sensor or a/c temp switches.. Do they have to be plugged in? I'd have to buy both of those then? If anyone has pictures of the HAC sensor and a/c temp switches that would be great!
Got these two contacts I don't know what are for.. there are a few contacts around, then the skid control and engine control.. all that's good.. just don't know what those two are for.. as there isn't anywhere to plug them in.
Thanks.
I'm doing my GE GTE swap and wondering about the throttle connections..
Found this picture on the web:
and that's got the same throttle bracket as my GE(where the throttle wires go into)
And then it's got a rod going to the throttle body... but my GTE throttle body doesn't have any...
The engine is pretty much ready to be put in now, but I'm wondering if there is anything missing. The engine which is put together now had lots of parts missing.. and I've taken a lot from my 7MGE engine, so I'm therefor unsure if I've got everything I need on the new engine.
What I know of...
Hey, doing my GE GTE swap.. and took the support brackets from the GE engine with W58, and put them on the GTE with R154. But can't seem to get the holes going onto the gearbox to line up properly.. are they different on the R154 versus W58?
Yes I know that.. But I've got problems understanding how it is... The door/trunk triggers are already connected to the chasis, and then it's got "-" connecting to the alarm central, how does it know when it's triggered? Has it got a loop between the chasis/ground (H1/5 on picture) and the "-"...
Hey,
Having som difficulties with understanding the installation of the alarm...
See attachment. As you can see it's got (-) and (+) in front of the description of each cable. 12V DC, siren and chasis is no problem of course. But all of these trigger inputs.. they've got (-), how can that...
Hey,
Just got my Blitz BLM Boost Gauge... installation instructions are in chinese or something..
So basically wondering which vacuum line to connect to? Pictures are +++
Thanks,
Scott
Don't really wanna skip the coupler, as the piece will be too long.. and then might not fit as well onto the other pipe which is connected to the radiator..

The engine is pretty much back together.. got a few things remaining to take from the old engine. Got a week holiday now so...
