Got the block back. time for assembly. Engine block painted burnt copper metallic. VHT paint... ARP studs everywhere...Clevite bearing mains & rods. Dealer oil pump shaft bearings. New oil squirter bolts. Now for the crank. Before and after of valve covers and 3000 pipe. Have a bunch more...

changing out the stock piston and rods for JE pistons 20 over with eagle rods. Thanks Spoolin.' Also getting the Crank polished then balance the Flywheel, crankshaft, piston/rods, and dampner.

Completed the teardown. Send block off to machine shop for cleaning and deck for metal headgasket. More pics soon...

What piston and rod combo do you plan on running? I plan on starting my '90 7mgte build in the next couple of weeks. Picking up parts here and there. Might go with eagle rods and cp or je pistons Bought a 7mge head, but was thinking of putting my stock turbo cams in that one. Heard the NA cams...

Is there a specific jumper setting on the e-manage ultimate itself for the 7mgte ecu connect?

Did you ever get the e-manage ultimate to work properly with the 7mgte? I found a good deal on a used EMU and was wondering if its worth getting. I have a 1990 supra turbo.
