LOL...I just know the guys from my T.S Hood group buy will also be in for this. This carbon fiber piece is what missing from the top side then the fenders..lol. I intend to complete the front side with CF.

I'm going to build up that top portion with fg (aprox-1/4'') so mainly extending it downward. So when you look at it you won't be able to see the top portions cut out. I'm thinking of doing it from the inside also with the sides & bottoms. I hope I'm making sense of it lol.

I can't imagine the looks of the techs faces if I would to take that car @ the BMW dealer for oil change...lol

LOL...looks like you did a couple of upgrade to make it better like the metal piece on the back of the center vent plus the partition. Why don't you show it how it’s bowed @ the head light area (passenger) as I underlined on the picture above? The center vent will get another sheet metal...

LOL...... Yeah, you're correct and to make it functional you might have to cut some metal that's abstracting the air flow as the owner did to his car. The holes are for looks if nothing done to make it functional...just like the head light covers LOL. Noel

I have something @ work design just for this application. A lot of our Guard doors are made of 5/16" lexan and they intend to get heavy. So we installed shocks with safety lock. Once its lift the cylinder lock it self and to unlock the cylinder you simply pull the knob (locking-pin).

Crank walk.....don't let that thrust washer to get out of the pocket or it can damage the crank severely. Time to replace the bearings.
