    I moved the metal pin up and down, drove the car, when the engine was warm the pin was right up.. so that's not stuck. Still not blowing hot air though. I suppose you mean this VSV(top left) Jeff? I'll try to see what happens if I bypass it. Thanks

    Are you sure? I can't see anywhere on the exhaust side where there is supposed to be a block off plate? Isn't the EGR system only going between the intake plenum and the location in the 1st picture?

    Thanks for links. Although, it has taken quite some time to get to the knock sensors. How can I know that the sensors are good? I'd prefer not to have to take everything apart again.. only want to do it once.
