I moved the metal pin up and down, drove the car, when the engine was warm the pin was right up.. so that's not stuck. Still not blowing hot air though. I suppose you mean this VSV(top left) Jeff? I'll try to see what happens if I bypass it. Thanks

Hey. When I had the car running in december/january the heater was blowing hot air, but it was kinda shibby, it only blew hot air in some settings etc. Now after 5 months(GTE swap) of being in the garage, it is not blowing hot air anymore, only cold. Does anyone know what can be causing this...

Are you sure? I can't see anywhere on the exhaust side where there is supposed to be a block off plate? Isn't the EGR system only going between the intake plenum and the location in the 1st picture?

Thanks for links. Although, it has taken quite some time to get to the knock sensors. How can I know that the sensors are good? I'd prefer not to have to take everything apart again.. only want to do it once.

So a knock sensor can be causing all the problems I'm having? Yeah, I've started taking off the inlet manifold.. Is it normally just the wires or the kock sensors them self that fail? How much/far do you rewire? Is there any guide? Thanks, Scott
