dont rule out the thought that you may have a defective from factory part...it does happen. if it persists, i would take it back(i hope you have some kind of warranty) and try a new one

so you didnt unplug them? do you have a supermonitor? or do you not have a feature some supras do? car makers will sometimes put all the same harnessess in all cars just to simplify things. if they were unplugged already id guess that they should stay unplugged
