SRT-4 is a turbo 2.4L and an Evo is a turbo 2.0L. An SRT-4 has the same engine and intercooler as a turbo PT Cruiser. You just cant see the intercooler on the PT.

I've driven a Neon and an SRT-4 back to back. It's obvious that the SRT-4 was incredibly well built compared to the Neon. It's much more solid. And they are mighty quick when staged.
