What is your gas mileage? Do you have an aftermarket bov that's venting to the atmosphere? Have you checked the intercooler piping to rule out a boost leak? A boost leak would make you run rich. Maybe you're running way rich, and that you're smelling unburnt gas. My $0.02

Yeah, I'd say any Supra is out of their element out there. But it's a very sexy Supra, and the area is pretty, too.

^ Lol. ^ But yeah, I've heard of many people running turbos bought on Ebay. Some are Chinese junk, but some are decent buys. So with Ebay, it's hit or miss. The bad news is that some turbo failures can take out your engine when they do go out. So buyer beware.

It costs a lot, specially if you go after USDM stuff. The JDM turbos, ecu and injectors are weak, compared to USDM.

Awesome performer that Supra is. Love the view of the rear tire right @ the 2:13 sec frame. The Car & Driver article I'm reading describes it as a Twin Turbo, 7lt motor. No mention was made of an N/A version (like the video says), but I'm not sure how old the article is.

I torque mine to 85 lb/ft. That's with new ARP stud and lube, mhg. machined deck and head. never a problem.

I bought a new wiring harness for my 5 speed 90T. Pricey (I forget how much I paid) but worth every penny.

Re: your oil pressure. How many miles on the motor and what oil type/weight are you running? Do you trust your oil gauge? I know I've seen very little oil pressure at idle, and even lower after the engine oil is getting ready for a change. So if you dont trust your oil pressure gauge, maybe get...
