    Mine is second hand 39000c maybe we should put up the price of the car and a list of the mods + cost, so we can then buy and mod the other cars people have so if someone posts a suspiciously fast time we can see if its within reason to do the time in said car??

    Get a downpipe and remove both cats should give you a good gain, then get an MBC makes a world of differance. Nothing like getting full boost on half throttle.

    You must have some seriously slippy tires or slippy roads where you live to brake loose at 10 psi. If I launch at 3-4000 rpm I just get wheel hop and the front of the car really lifts, I can chirp the tires going into second. I have nexen 2000 tires on N/A mk4 rims. 12 psi, home made downpipe...

    That is an aluminium plug they put in from the factory to stop you from playing with the screw. If you want to adjust it you will have to take the AFM off and carefully drill it out.

    Not if the air is unmetered from a hole in the accordian hose, which is after the AFM. The tccs doesn't know about that air because it hasn't seen it, so fuels for what the AFM is reading. You get a lean condition which could cause your engine to go pop.

    Is it just me, or is this gas mileage TOO good?

    I get mid 20's out of my 89 turbo with spirited driving and 33 on the highway, my only mods are home made 2 1/2" downpipe with both cats removed and a drop in k & n filter. Oh thats imperial mpg not US
