Because they are great tires and always has great reviews. I don't know too much about the General tires though. I buy what is tried and tested for good results.
You don't need spacers. But, when I had them, I was recommended getting 25mm up front and 15mm in the back to make them flush. You'll have to get a quality set of spacers up front though. The ones that don't use your stock studs to bolt to the wheel.

You have no idea what you are talking about. It's a win win situation when you hold the door open for someone. I feel good about it because they are happy someone did them the courtesy. I now know not to hold the door open for you I guess.
