So I put the new alternator on and it still didnt charge, So I messed with the plug in the back that has the 3 wires going to it ( White - 12 volts all the time, Yellow- only has voltage when the alternator isnt charging and sends the voltage to turn on the battery light on the instrument panel...

about 4 months ago there was an 80's model porsche lifted in the adtracker in my town lol

Sucks man, Im feeling you right now. Mines been down for about 2 weeks and just cus the battery wont charge!!! and its in the freaking 50's!!!!

see when I took it to oreillys when they tested it, he hooked neg to the body of the alt. positive to the post. and it passed, What about the voltage Regulator? He never plugged anything into that slot

That happened to me and it turned out my idle was too low so I adjusted it up to 800 it was at 500

k cant till monday. cars in the shop at school. a know when it was started we had a voltmeter on the battery and it wasnt charging it stayed at like 12.4 and didnt go up and after a while went down

it started when I have a different battery, I got a new one and its doing the same thing.
