Well the one I posted previously about, she actually doesn't mind that I talk about my car 24/7, work on it, and spend alot of my money on it. She loves the car herself and once she finds another job shes gonna help me by paying for some of the stuff needed to it like some repairs, mods etc.
Not to jack up anyones thread....but someone said I can use dielectric grease to lubricate the fuel injector o rings before installation and that it was better than fuel or vaseline......is that true?
Touche good sir. The 6500 was for the 2jz engine with the swap into my MK3. I dunno if thats a great price but it seems decent. I would have to find my own r154 though so that would bring it up to about 7000 total I believe
Well the other place I went to was XAT Racing. One of the guys that works there owns a 89 1jz supra. He said that XAT Racing supplying me the engine and doing the swap would cost 6500 bucks. It seems to me like that is wayyyyy too much money considering what people have told me but I dont know...
No problem bro. Its good information to know and look into. Thanks for the insight and I will def. look into it. It seems as though what you said just buying a 1jz clip would be easier cuz everything will be there right in front of me and show me how it was setup if I go that route and then 2jz...

Sorry I worded that wrong, but he said you get the wiring harness, and ecu from what I know. Dont remember him saying the MAP Sensor or Ignitor but I'm assuming that would come with it. I know the 1jz bellhousing and r154 tranny wouldnt come with it but that doesnt bother me cuz im looking for...
Well the guy said everything needed for a swap but tranny ie wiring harness, ECU and such and such
He said they come with a 6 month warranty as well if installed into your car
Well on my day of being out and about I stopped by Driven Concepts. They have a lot of Toyota Supras there being worked on but only 1 MK3. I talked to the guy and he said he has 2jz engines in the back and they run about $2500.00 complete. Being that I've looked at alot of places this seems like...
