Haha, isn't there some kind of joke about "the rule of GTR's/Nissans"? Like where, for every 1 day you have it running, it'll spend two days down?
I'd love a skyline as well, but I'm in the US and don't wanna spend the G's I don't have on a car that would get impounded.
I have a bpu supra, 3 inch exhaust and intake. All my other mods are mostly handling related.
I've gotten 21 mpg on shell 93 gas, and that's with A LOT of spirited driving.
If I drove like a grandma, I could probably manage 23-24, but what's the fun in that? :naughty:
You're going to spend probably more like 4k on a v160.
Most people around here will tell you that getting a v160 into a Mk3 is a huge job. I can't tell you the specifics myself, but there are a lot of custom fab parts to make/buy and some say it involves widening the transmission channel...
I got a gently used Fluydine for $300, and I think it was money very well spent... However I would have gone with a Koyo as well.
Just post a WTB ad if you really want the Fluydine.

I've known people in NA cars to say the same thing that CZ is saying. Granted they weren't talking about 7m's, but I've got a friend with a 240KA who switched from 2.5 to 3" and said it performed better overall.
But from most accounts on here, you're right... People suggest that...

If you own a manual and have long arms, they are totally useless...
I can't shift with a cup in there, because I'm worried about knocking the cup over.
I bet if you went to a body shop or some place that fabs body kits, they could EASILY make you one for a lot less.
Seriously, other than the bragging rights, what's the point of getting a genuine turbo A duct?
If you're talking about Valve cover gaskets, like CRE said, go with Toyota OEM gaskets. I got a set of Felpro gaskets, and they were too large and leaked oil all over the place. Also make sure you replace/reuse the grommets on top of the valve covers.
As for spark plugs, it's my opinion...
I had this same problem a while back using felpro gaskets... they were too big for the valve covers....
And I don't know for sure how much difference those little grommets make, but I got new silicone gaskets, a new set of grommets, washers to go on top of the grommets, and allen bolts, and...

If you're not going to take it to a roadcourse or autocross, in my opinion coilovers are unnecessary. Then again the Megans are pretty affordable as far as coilovers go, so by the time you invest in a good set of Tokikos and springs, you're not far from the cost of the...
