Well after a little over a year i am finally going to install the motor back into my car. It is a 7MGTE and R154. I was just curious if you guys out there had any tips or tricks that would save some hassle and what not. Anything would be appreciated. thanks

I was wondering if anybody knew the thread style(?) size of the heater union banjo bolt. I need to know for a tap to clean up the threads in the head. If anyone has anything please let me know.

Ok thanks for the info. I wish i had pulled it all as one but the person that was helping my pull it always seprated (never pulled 7m though). I will drop and attach before putting back in.

So i pulled the motor out seperate. Will it be easier to drop the tranny and then attach to put it back in or to do it with tranny in the car?

Should have looked at this earlier. I already took it in and its actually 250 for just about everything unless there is major machine work needing to be done.

Yeah thats what i hear too. When i talked to them it would be 250 for assembly plus any machine work. Taking it to them today and will see what happens.

I am in Abq now for school. I'm at UNM. I have met a couple of guys from down here. I am planning on going to budlongs.
