Sorry i was unclear. i have already converted the car from an auto to a 5 speed with all of the wiring associated with this swap. im looking to buy a new harness and was wondering if i could use a 5 speed harness in place of my auto harness with the auto ecu.
This is in a 1990 Turbo with five speed swap. The car has the automatic wiring harness (with reverse and neutral switch wired up) and ecu. Im about to purchase a new harness from Toyota, and was wondering if a manual harness would work.

Auto started blowing fluid everywhere, thus, i had a "valid" excuse to go five speed :naughty:. I personally love driving a standard more than an auto, so no regrets here.
Thanks, one quick question before i do this though. I have the stock pump that is most likely a lot more than two years old (how long i've owned the car). Wouldn't running the stock fuel pump at full voltage shorten its lifespan considerably or would it be alright to do so?
