I just got an adjustable fuel pressure regulator kit and I was wondering what the stock base fuel pressure is on a 1j with the vacuum line off??

the only thing that sucks, is that the car definitely smells like gas when you take the cat off. Especially mine because it runs rich.:aigo:

That is the exact symptom that I had. The knock would only be present at about 2500 rpm and would not be their under heavy load or when the car was not warmed up. It ended up being rodknock!!

I am not running AC on my car. I checked the temp sensor and wiring and they look good (not broken). what do you think Aaron? Do you think that maybe the solenoid seized?

Yes, I installed a brand new OEM thermostat, but from what I know the fan is supposed to vary speed depending on water temp. That is why it uses the temp sensor on the radiator and the hydrofan solenoid. The way it works now is fine, but I am afraid of maybe burning out the fan.

A koyo aluminum race radiator will definitely drop your temps significantly. Also a new fan clutch or electric fans will help too.

Just wondering what you guys think. When ever my car is running the hydrofan is always spinning pretty fast. From the second I turn on the car the fan speed does not change. The car does not get hot at all, it actually runs very cool but I know that the fan is supposed to very speeds depending...

The kit is available now. I am running it on my car with the ct26 57trim and it is a very nice setup. The Kit is well designed and the car drives great with it!! I highly recommend it!!

Damn thats crazy Aaron! It makes me think, because I have an XTD in my 240sx with the 6 puck disk and it really feels like it doesn't grab that hard at all. I think I got ripped off.

sounds like you should just take everything you have off and just start from scratch. You might be in over your head.

I just bent the tube towards the ground and ditched the charcoal can. Have not had any problems yet and no fuel smell in the car.

You gotta get a clip bro. Their are so many little things that you will need that will come with the clip to make it way easier and get your car running a lot faster.

bad valve stem seals will not cause low compression, but It will cause oil to get into the cylinders and burn causing smoke.
