yes..my supra has the 5m with the addition of a ct26 turbo off the 7mgte and a full intercooler hardpipe kit and 3 inch exhaust. Plus all the goodies getting the turbo to work right in the system.

These pictures are taken from Effet's build thread...This is how he made them. Smeared some polyester on the mould and had to cut it in half. Then I filled the new mould with stearin. Note: This was just a prototype with one layer of carbon fiber. I used 4 layers on the others.

take a section of pipe that you want to replicate fill it with some sort of expanding/hardening foam. Cut the pipe off. Maybe do a test and see if acetone or something will then melt the foam but not the Carbon fiber so you can melt out the foam after the CF hardens over it. Making a...

I have used all sorts of different brands from Dupli-color to krylon, to rustoleum. The key is in the prep work and paint work itself as much as it is the paint. But like mentioned above, it depends on the goal. What are you painting?

yup.. I had a boost leak for a while and never new it (first turbo car) and just didnt know that my used stock ct26 was suppose to make more than about 5 pounds. Fixed it and made about 6.5... then today I shimmed my wastegate on my 5mgte and am making a solid 8 or so.

thats my guess as well. go back and make sure all the hose clamps are tight from the hoses you removed.

yeah, thats what I thought. When I use the compressor at about 10 psi, and put air threw it, it makes a wiered fluttery sound, but not the same whistle my car is making.

Yeah I have a stock bov from a 7m on my 5mgte and once I get to start boosting I get a wierd whistle (not the turbo sound) and I suspect it is the bov. Any way to check it?

yes I know the front plate is stupid but I have been pulled over a couple times for not having it. Soon the Large center post will be revomed so more IC is exposed.

I woulda went for more of a glossy anno job... but looks great and I may have to look into this soon. A red anno like on my invert mini would be sweet

if your really concerned you could probably wrap it in black exhaust wrapping and prevent a little bit of the heat.

if you have the money, get a header (this should come with a downpipe portion that will get it to where the stock exhaust would be) will probably be 2.5". Get a cat that matches size, same with a catback. A header back 2.5" is plenty for an NA
