I am an American. I was born here, I went to school here, and I have substantial amounts of debt here (lets not get started on that last point). I like 49% of my fellow Americans, did not vote for George W. Bush ever. Why other cultures pick on him (considering almost 400 other national elected...
Think $75,000 stereo in your house with multiple dedicated circuits, cause if you plug your preamp and amp into the same circuit you might get a hum.
That and no stereo in your car because you understand that there is no way to hear decent quality music in a car.
Add these two things up and...
You're just jealous about the lack of rust... and lack of anything else to do with weather. :evil2:
Anybody else think that we may be able to cross-reference many of the post in this thread with the "Whose drunk right now" thread?

Classic. Actually, my parents have recently noticed that everytime I come home from school, another set of screwdrivers seems to go missing... What a strange coincidence.......
Thanks for the advice on the oil buildup. I'll have to look into that. You know add it to the list of things I...
This happens to me too. I see about a quart and a half on the pavement under the car, but the level NEVER CHANGES. Anybody know why this happens? Even when I dump the oil it's still full. The biggest PITA.

I rarely still hear the noise when the radio turns off. Yes, I HEAR THINGS!! I guess it's better to hear things then not hear things. Besides, it keeps driving entertaining.
To me this is the "perfect 80's car". How can you not take the Targa off and blast some great 80's rock to go along...
sounds like the buttons not working may be a 91 thing cause the problem with mine is the defrost/floor vent button on my 91. Any other years do this? Has anybody fixed this (besides getting climate control from a different year).

fan resistor, huh... sounds like fun. Maybe I'll just stick with the med setting for now. I gotta get me some new tires first (yes, The tires are that bad).
Thanks for the info. Anybody have any recomendations on that other switch thats not quite working?

hmmmm, CAn't say I can help, but I would like information on this too if people have it. My low setting doesn't do anythingand nothing happens when I select low vent/defrost. The light turns on along with everything else while the button is pressed in, but as soon as you release it the whole...
I got my supra after getting hit by a drunk driver. 19 year old girl doing 30 in a parking lot in a 3 week old civic. The pile of tin ended up mostly underneath my truck. then she backed into another parked car...
Somehow, she pawned off the dazed and confused look as a concussion to the...
Man did SILV05 have perfect timing. It's been raining here in Las Vegas all day. there are some pictures i've found in the "supra showoff" area and also on supraforums if you have access there. The Suprasport pictures look good too.

Well, it appears that the brake pads on my supra are wearing thin. It's time for new ones. My question is this:
Should I uprade the brakes or just leave them stock? I just use the car for a daily driver. I don't race or boost much (unless an idiot feels the need to not let me pass them)...
I just wish someone woulda warned me before I bought my mkIII. All I really knew when I bought my car a year ago is that Toyota made a reliable car, and that I went "oh $h_t" when I got on the freeway during the test drive. I bought my Supra 18 months ago for $5000. It had a newly rebuilt motor...
I used that rainX stuff over a year ago and I still can't get the greasy film it left off my windshield. Ever since then even the smallest oncoming light turns the entire window into a huge white sheet of glare. I think it was a bad bottle though cause it worked a couple years before that on my...
