    Overheat, now tapping!

I don't think its a common problem, but I know that a few people on here have dealt with it. Have you ever run the car low on oil? I know that alot of people, myself included, check the oil before even starting the car.

    Overheat, now tapping!

From what I've read on this site in the past, it sounds like you have rod knock, which totally sucks. Do a search on this forum for info on rod knock, there have been many posts in the past on the subject. Where at in georgia are you?

    I need some advice

So for the last few days I have been trying to remove the oil pressure sender, with no luck. Today I finally got the some-bitch off, and smashed it with a hammer(I know it's immature, but damn it felt good). I was installing the adapter for the new sender, and it snapped. So now I have a little...

What is it you like about Supras?

I'm on supra #2 now, been driving them for 16 years now, and it never gets old, for me it's kind of like an addiction. I know someone else already said this, but I like that there are so few of them out there, I can go weeks and not see another supra.

    Rusted spare tire well

Have you checked the weather seals on your tail lights? Once they go bad water can get in that way too. One way you can tell is if there is condensation built up inside the lenses.

    I guess I'm screwed

Damn, 4k a year!, you must be under 21. Hope it all works out for you, I'd hate to see you lose the car because of an accident caused by some assrag. Good luck.

    I guess I'm screwed

Your insurance shouldnt go up unless you've had alot of accidents. If this is your first one in a while, I cant see them raising your rates. As far as the $ goes, if you own the car you can always do one of those title loans, I know its a shitty option, but it's better than losing the supra.

    coolant leak

^^What Nate said, its most likely the hose in the back center of the head. I'm having the exact same problem as you, and that's the hose I need to replace.

    Need some advice

The s-10 has been great, other than the small problems I listed. I can definately say that after 16 years of supra ownership, that the blazer has been far less problematic, but not nearly as much fun. Thanks for the input guys.

    Need some advice

Hey guys, I would have posted this in the tech section, but it's not about my Supra, it need some advice on my 93 s10 4x4 blazer. It has 44k miles on it, and it never goes to high idle when started, even when its freezing outside, it just goes right to normal idle. It will also smoke when first...

    Crankshaft Timing Pulley Removal

You're talking about the crank pulley(harmonic balancer), right? If so the best way is to use an impact wrench. I didnt have access to one so I had to use the old starter bump method. You put a wrench on the bolt, wedge it so it cant move, and turn the starter over for like a second at a time...

    problems after hg repair

Not true, my timing was off and the only time it was noticable was under acceleration and at cruising speed, it would idle fine.

    Leaking hatch

Another thing to check is the seals on your tail lights. Do you get condensation inside the lights? Mine were bad and I had a large pool of water in the spare tire well.
