Honda people wonder were they get their bad name lol.

When I bought my '90 supra it had a 3.5" catback, 17" wheels with 275's in the back, and lowered. Practically every light that turned green when I was in the front had a guy next to me take off fast. Although it's not why I did, I swapped the suspension and wheels for the stock ones on my '91...

    The Ultimate Fat Car!

While trying to find production numbers (can't find any either) I came across two interesting bits of info; the engine has DOHC, but only two per bank for a total of four (got back to the vid that showed how the cylinders are aligned to see why that's interesting), and the car gets 8/13 city/hwy...

    The Ultimate Fat Car!

Keros: A few things that my OCD would like to point out from your post: you spelled Veyron wrong several times, the Aero TT has a 10-speaker audio/navigation system, and also... ... the fact that I know that now. My opinion changed when I watched the vids and read IJ's comment. I make...

1jz vs 2jz: weight and tranny questions

Alright, that answers that, thanks guys. And I found this page, which says the a340e bolts to the 2JZ: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-car-projects-builds/111445-toyota-1jz-2jz-conversion-info.html Infact, the a350e bolts to it, too! Feel free to let me know if that's wrong, but...

    The Ultimate Fat Car!

Yea I probably shoulda watched the vids first lol. It also wasn't fair to ask you guys to watch a vid if I didn't. Sorry! It's because... it doesn't really matter, I watched them now. Holy crap, my jaw dropped when they showed the radiators, transmission, wing, and the floor of the final...

    The Ultimate Fat Car!

Have you guys heard of the SSC Ultimate Aero TT? 6.3L pushrod V8, MR, RWD, 1183bhp 1094ftlbs tq twin turbo, 6 speed manual, 7200 rpm redline. Windtunnel testing and gear ratios show that it can do 273 mph, but they've only done 254mph (still faster than veyron's record attempt). $620,000...

Lets see those wheels on MKIIIs!

IBTL, there is harm. Posts and threads take up space and bandwidth, which leads to eventual hardware upgrades. If we have to make 10 pointless posts to deter the next 20 people who want to do this, then it's worth it. When we get new wheels, we'll update the appropiate threads.

Obsolete MKIII parts; are there any?...yet?

toyotapartsexpress.com: Rear hatch glass: $808.85 Turbo: $2944.65 Never bought from them before though. I'd say if they don't have it, it's obsolete.

1jz vs 2jz: weight and tranny questions

I have a goal of 300whp, and after searching some more it looks like both engines with BPU could do that. So if I was keeping the stock twins, would that narrow the answer down?

1jz vs 2jz: weight and tranny questions

I'm trying to compare the 1jz-gte to the 2jz-gte for a swap into a 240sx. I've been researching for a long time, but I can't seem to find the weight of a 1jz longblock. I had click through all the "a lot", "boat anchor", and "not much more than the 1jz" to find that a 2jz-gte longblock weighs...
