thats not chatter. chatter occurs when you are engaging the clutch. the entire car shudders as the clutch rapidly grabs and slips until it is fully engaged. its a very bad feeling and if you ever install a pucked clutch disk you will know what chatter feels like.

i disagree on one point, having a turbo equipped model to me, is now essential in making a supra a supra. thats just my opinion. if a new supra does come out, and it does not have a turbo option i will be severely disappointed.

and ive been there, and im here to say that there is no reason to rush. if you cant afford to do it right, get a cheap beater car that you wont have to worry about and build the supra right over time. i would have saved LOTS of money if i didnt want to rush my project.

if youre going to go through all that trouble, and since youll be sanding the block deck youll still have to have the motor out of the car and disassembled, you might as well just drop it off at the machine shop to get cut. any machine shop with MODERN equipment can get a very good finish.

not true at all. what the downside to studs is, with the motor in the car you must remove the studs in order to remove the head, which is a bit of a pain. other than that you can install and remove the studs with the motor in the car.

im ALMOST convinced that most people who drink and drive, and in general drink heavily are depressed. yes, they may even be depressed and not even realize it. it sounds strange, but if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. they are using alcohol to distract them from whatever depression...

the pumps are the same. replace it anyway. our fuel pumps are up to 20 years old now. walbro fuel pumps are cheap.
