my CPS timing was off, causing the throttle response to be horrible, and the engine to sound like it had a dead cylender/EGR leak. I thought i did it to spec the first time, and the second time, but the thrid time was the charm.

check the condition of the wires. I had a hard time getting a temperature reading, this was all due to the condition of my wiring harness.

My supra is suffering from horrid throttle response and a ticking noise. This sounds like it could be comming from one of the two rear cylenders. Is it possible that this noise is from a leaking EGR cooler? Furthermore, could a leaking EGR cooler/Block off plates be the culprit of the horrid...

Anyone extended the lines from the bottom of it and put it anywhere else, i was thinking about doing this to free up some space. I was thinking about locating it where the charcoal canister used to be. Any reasons why i couldnt do this?

Yea, cars running better, all vacume leaks fixed, everything looks great.. but it still runs like crap. When it starts, it idles at 400 rpms, and has no throttle response whatsover, what could be causing this..?!? HEELLLPP!!

hmm, yea, that makes sense to me... my SAFC usually says i'm at 0%, when i'm actually at 0%, but now.. every now and again, i'll notice it jump from 1-10% when i'm not touching the petal. I guess i need to calibrate.

I've searched and found stuff about the CPS.. how do i know if this is the problem?

I just finished installing my cometic MHG, w/ ARP's, 550's, Lex AFM, and SP61GT. I cannot get the car to turn over. it sounds like its close, but then it just backfires. I am 99% possitive the timing is alright, because i made marks and never touched the crank.. only the cam gears and lined it...
