I doubt it's the mileage on the trans. Just the way that the previous owner(s) drove the car. My trans has 234,xxx miles on it and still transitions without bouncing off the rev limiter

Seth, with the hex screws and lock washers, did you use the rubber "washers" that you were using before (as well as the lock washers), or discard those rubbers?

it's not usually the valve cover gaskets that leak into the plug valley, its the hex head plugs on top (level with 3rd cover) that leak into the plug valley

I know how to loosen the alt cause I had to replace mine... haha. I've gotten the a/c tensioner bolt loose, but the tensioner was stuck in place, rusted probably... what's the best way to loosen it up without damaging the pulley? I assume going at it from underneath with a ball peen hammer, but...

that wouldn't work unfortunately. is300 uses a w58 iirc... supra turbo uses a r154. w58 is push type and r154 is pull
