It has been *my* experience, that DBB turbo compared to an "equal" non BB turbo will be quicker to GET to 1psi, but the time to go from 1 psi to 20 psi would be fairly similar between the 2. (just usign these specific #s as an example) Keep in mind that this has just been MY experience. I do...

Spool is such a relative term IMO....for one person it could be how long it takes to get to full boost from 1500rpm, or for another it could be how long it takes to go from 0psi to 30psi at 4500rpm.... IMO, just size your turbo to the power you want to make at XX psi...if you want more power...

Et streets wrinkle....same compound/construction as a slick, just a couple grooves cut in them to make them "DOT legal"....

For 4.5k you could have a built chevy tranny in there and custom made converter (to whatever specs youd like) that will hold more than youre going to put thru it.....
