Sooo what's with certain area's being masked off? For the upper water neck why not take it to a fab shop and have them cut off the nipples and weld it up? I did this with mine and it cost me about $50 and looks 10x better.

Get the .70 A/R, the .58 is too small for this turbo and chokes it.

Don't forget to always budget for a minimum of 20% in extra unexpected things like a crank pulley separating into 2 pieces while tuning on the dyno (costing an extra $400 when the budget was for only $1100). Shit breaks and you find things wrong while working on other projects.

Last I checked new OEM crank pulley's were something like $280 and a new ATI crank pulley is $340.

Me too Jay. As soon as the finances allow I'm getting an ATI. I don't trust stock pulley's anymore, especially old ones.

Got my pulley this afternoon and ran it up to BIC. I just got back a few minutes ago. Tomorrow Bill is going to clean up the pulley and put my Supra back together and back on the road where it will be waiting for the rest of its tune.

Yeah I did Shawn, last year. It didn't just pop, it exploded and did $800 in damage. I got lucky this time.
