sp61gt for the win! for a little over a grand you could get a brand new turbo thats even bigger then the 60-1. also with the new dbb center section coming out tis going to be even better... :)
Christian is a great guy and well into the supra game! check out ron r.s mani to see his car and what hes done. he is the dfw guru that is on par with many of the great names out there... plus he works on my car...so that says something ;)
if we are talking NA - NA or T - T prob less time but if were talking a swap...
can be done in a weekend if you know your stuff, are experienced and dont run into any snags. for a shop to do it prob a month is a good safe bet depending how experienced they are with it.
yes doc and maybe i should have been more specific. the e-man blue has been figured out on how to get it to work and with the write up it becomes everyones knowledge. however i havent seen anyone running the ultimate yet either. i know of one of the local dfw guys has an ultimate but isnt...
no i did not drill out the jtube yet. the car is down for some new upgrades (ffi, hardpipes, ic...the usual)
search on the NA cams as its been discussed to all high heaven. as for the screw i think its a crock really, there is a stock screw there that offers much in the way of adjustment and...
i have nothing against the e-man setup and applaude anyone who runs it. however people need torealize that there is alot of work that needs to be put into it and its not plug and play. i dont consider myself up to the challenge of getting it all setup and running on a day to day basis. good...
im still running hella rich.... my dyno before went south of 10:1 and then when i dyno'd after it was still shooting black out the tail pipe. this was on an sp61gt @ 18 psi @ 320rwhp untuned. this was also on the stock fpr and pump ;)
the e-man ultimate and blue doesnt have a base map for the 7m (we do have it for the 1jz and 1g though!) however some people (dr. j iirc) have run the eman blue by using a combination of other motors maps.
550s can be found on ebay easily. go with a reputable company like RC or lucas. the lex afm also on ebay or the f/s section. i am currently running this setup and have no need to touch the adjustment screw and without tuning on a dyno with a wb and some other way of dealing with fp and more...
