Thank you. The sidewalls are actually part of the hood skin. I bent the sides down,then tacked/sandwiched a piece of sheet metal across the bottom to fill the gap,and brace the opening.This kept it from having a real sharp edge on the openings too.

It looks a lot better in person actually,can't really see the colors well in the pic.

Got it in primer tonight. I will post some more pics when I get some paint on it.

The R6 runs mid 11's in the 1/4,and top speed is ~165mph.That's quick for a 600.Yeah,the R1 is faster,but the R6 handles better (lighter,easier to throw around)Still respectable to hang with that bike.
