I would recommend an RPS 3200lb pressure plate, and stock disk, but you're probably well aware of how my 1JZ liked it....... With new thrust washers ($60), it will not walk.

1) yes, but it would be a good idea to swap in turbo pistons, or atleast put a thicker head gasket on it to lower the GE's comrpession. 3) Expect about a 500rpm drop in spool. And no, your 1.5JZ Won't be close to stock compression with GE pistons.

don't worry about it too much, unless you really want it. What the VSV does is open up during high PS pressure (raises the idle when turning). Without it, it doesn't change much. I ran without it for about a year before I got another one. I took the two lines, and initially connected them...

Welding supply shops. Buy or rent a tank for a few hundred, then it costs next to nothing to refill. Regulators can be had for cheap on ebay.

How's the spool with the .96 hotside?

Can you measure the diameter of that compressor housing? How much more room do you need?

I did something similar. I haven't welded onto the turbo yet though, just have a coupling there, going to a 90 on the pipe.

Denso 800cc injectors. Stock pump + Bosch 044 in-line to boost it. If you have enough volume at high pressure, you can push a lot of fuel through stock lines. What's the burst pressure ;)

get a 1JZ hydro fan cooler, and use that for your PS. if your car is 89+, it'll have the bolt holes to mount it too.
